About Us
ShambroLa Wood Art is owned and operated by Mick and Deb Shambro. We are located in beautiful Lexington, Kentucky. Like so many crafters, we do our woodworking as a hobby in our ‘spare time’. We started out making ornaments for our Christmas tree about 5 years ago and got totally hooked on the art of scroll-sawing. We do not have a shop, we work from our home. The garage has become a woodshop, and the house has been pretty much taken over with ornaments, plaques, clocks, portraits, etc in various stages of completion. We both work full-time jobs in the computing industry and find wood working to be a welcome relief from the high-tech world. We hope to continue producing quality keepsakes for others to enjoy well into retirement!
